It was definitely a music weekend! Remember Liann made alternate for State KMEA?!! Turned out one of the other cellists had a college visit that could not be changed and Liann made it into State!!! The concert was Saturday afternoon and these kids were incredible. We stayed and watched 56A Band concert as well. Sunday afternoon was rehearsal for Youth Symphony, their concert is this Saturday. Hubby and I grabbed a late lunch at Il Vicino while we were running errands and waiting. Yum! Do like their wood oven pizza!

Wanted to share a clever finish for Snowman’s Quaker Christmas! Coral stitched him up on gold perforated paper and carefully trimmed it down! How pretty is that? I like the gold peeking through. Thanks for sharing your ornaments and idea with us Coral!
Well everyone, I’m off to feed the horses and birds. They are having their own concert as they’re chattering with each other and the hawk must have just stretched his wings, I heard his cry as he flew past my loft window. Our red winged blackbird is calling from the highest branch he could find. Pretty soon I’ll hear the blush bellied woodpecker looking for seed and hammering away on the trees in the woods.
Thanks for stopping by and hope you enjoy your day! I hope to get a lot of stitching time in today.
I LOVE this idea and I have that gold paper in my stash!!! I see some more Quaker Snowmen ornaments in my future! (I’ve already stitched one, but haven’t gotten a picture of it yet!)
I hope this finds you doing well and enjoying this incredible weather! I do hope though that we get some rain this weekend. We really need it!
Happy Stitching!
They turned out too cute on the perf paper!

Ahh that is a neat way to finish.
